Enter! The Odyssey!!!

After wrapping up the Iliad, it is only fitting we read “The Odyssey!”  “The Odyssey” is a sequel to “The Iliad,”  and is also attributed to the mysterious author Homer.  It is about Odysseus, and his ridiculously long journey home following the ten year Trojan War.  Waiting at home for him is his unusually patient wife, Penelope.  Even with many suitors attempting to gain her hand, she remained faithful to Odysseus, waiting patiently for 10 years for her husband, who is believed to be dead, to return from Troy.  The epic is written in Dactylic Hexameter, which we are all more or less familiar with by now.  Also, We were told that the project for this book would be to create a modernized movie version of the tale!  It is going to be so much fun!
