Iliad (Line 408 Book 1)

Wow!  I over read last time!  Paulie reporting for duty!  Today I only have a few lines!  Let’s see…

in the face of that unbending ruthless king-/ if the day should come when the armies need me …  stark defeat.

Although extremely confusing, I have a feeling the speaker doesn’t like King Agamemnon and is talking about him.  It looks like this guy isn’t going to lend a helping hand.  I get the feeling that this king may start a war with Agamemnon.  Is he the other side of the trojan war???
